Cleft Chestnut paling is a brilliant product, versatile with endless uses, and can be a permanent or temporary barrier. For keeping dogs in (or out), chickens off the garden and grandchildren away from the pond.
We use chunky pales for your paling, which we split ourselves. They are then twisted into wire using our vintage ‘walk along’ machine by our expert paling maker, Emilia. Using the bigger profile pales means the finished rolls are strong and will last for years to come, unlike some of the ‘cheap fencing’ available. Teamed with our cleft Chestnut paling stakes (the strength of your fence is in these stakes!) you have a durable, versatile fence. We make rolls in heights up to 6′ and in closer spacing, with even or staggered height tops.
Below are the prices for our standard heights with 3″ – 4″ spacing and 2 wires. VAT is at 20%.
For 2″ – 3″ spacing or staggered height paling add approx. 20%
For 3 wire paling add £17.33 ex vat per roll.
