Chestnut paling is a brilliant product, versatile with endless uses, and can be a permanent or temporary barrier. For keeping dogs in (or out), chickens off the garden and grandchildren away from the pond.
We use chunky pales for your paling, which are split by us or our friends in Kent. They are then twisted into wire by our expert paling machinist Zoe. Using the bigger profile pales means the finished rolls are strong and will last for years to come, unlike some of the ‘cheap fencing’ available..
Below are the prices for some standard heights with 4″-5″ spacing and 2 wires. VAT is at 20%. For prices for different heights please contact us.
For 2″ – 3″ spacing paling add 20%
For 3 wire paling add £6 (as standard with 5ft and above)
3′ x 10 yard (9.1m) = £45 (incl. VAT £54)
3’6″ x 10 yard = £49 (incl. VAT £58.80)
4′ x 10 yard = £52 (incl. VAT £62.40)
Sawn Larch Paling
We tried out our new sawn larch ‘paling’ at a local festival where it worked a treat. Cheaper to make than split chestnut, it’s more formal and a good budget choice. Larch is one of the toughest and most durable of the conifers we grow in this country.
3′ x 10 yard (9.1m) = £40 (incl. VAT £48)
3’6″ x 10 yard = £44 (incl. VAT £52.80
4′ x 10 yard = £48 (incl. VAT £57.60)
